Don Lurio
Don Lurio ' (actually: Donald Benjamin Lurio ; born November 15, 1929 in New York City , † January 26, 2003 in Rome ) was an Italian dancer and choreographer .
Lurio, to Italian parents, was born in New York City. In the 1950s he was there as a dancer on Broadway , so he was seen in the musical Peter Pan . After a tour he settled in Italy in 1957. Here he did the choreography in several dance and revue films, for example in Casino de Paris from 1957. For the RAI station he presented his own Don Lurio show , four episodes of which were also broadcast in Germany in 1972 on the first . Here he danced, did skits and received popular stars of the time.
