Don McFarlane (athlete, 1931)
Don McFarlane (actually James Donald McFarlane; born June 10, 1931 in Toronto ) is a former Canadian sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952, he reached the quarter-finals over 200 m and was eliminated over 100 m and in the 4-by-100-meter relay in the preliminary run.
In 1954 he won silver over 100 yards at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver and gold in the 4-by-110-meter relay with the Canadian team.
In 1952 he was Canadian champion over 100 m, 1953 over 100 yards.
He started for the Hamilton Olympic Club
