The Don Pedro was a Spanish RoRo ship that ran aground off Ibiza in 2007 en route to Valencia , sank and released oil.

The combination ship built in 1983 for the shipping company Compania Iscomar SA in the shipyard Astilleros del Atlantico SA in Santander for the transport of trucks and containers had the dimensions 116.36 m long and 18.36 m wide with a draft of 6, 8,762 tons. 35 m.

On the night of July 10th to 11th, 2007, it struck a rocky reef at a distance of 2 km from the port of Ibiza and sank. The 18 crew members and two passengers were rescued. In the accident, around 150 t of heating oil and 50 t of bunker oil were released, which polluted the beaches on the holiday island.

The wreck lies in a water depth of 40 m (position 38 ° 32 ′  N , 1 ° 16 ′  E, coordinates: 38 ° 31 ′ 48 ″  N , 1 ° 16 ′ 12 ″  E ). Today the wreck is a popular destination for scuba divers.
