Donald Macaulay, Baron Macaulay of Bragar
Donald Macaulay, Baron Macaulay of Bragar , QC (* 14. November 1933 in Glasgow ; † 12. June 2014 in Joppa , Edinburgh ) was a British politician of the Labor Party and member of the House of Lords .
Political career
In the 1970 general election he was elected to the House of Commons for the Inverness constituency. His political work focused on Scottish law, education, local politics, sports and theater.
He was promoted to Life Peer in 1989 as Baron Macaulay of Bragar . He was the opposition spokesman for Scottish Affairs.
