Dondaicha-Warwade is a city in the Indian state of Maharashtra . The city is located near the border with Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat .
The city is part of the Dhule district . Dondaicha-Warwade has the status of a Municipal Council . The city is divided into 27 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census it had 46,767 inhabitants, of which 24,011 were men and 22,756 women. Hindus make up the majority of the city's population with a share of over 77%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 81.87%, well above the national average.
The first train arrived here in 1905 and Dondaicha-Warwade Station remains an important station on the Surat to Bhusawal railway line . The city is also known for the production and market of chili peppers.
