Dongpo Academy

The Dongpo Academy ( Chinese  东坡 书院 , Pinyin Dōngpō shūyuàn ) was a Chinese academy in the area of ​​the large community Zhonghe (中 和 镇) of the city of Danzhou , Hainan , People's Republic of China . It is 40 km from Nada Town, the capital of Danzhou.

The Dongpo Academy was originally built in 1098 in memory of the great writer from the Song Dynasty Su Dongpo (Su Shi), who lived here in exile.

Su Dongpo lived and taught in the Zaijiu Hall (Zaijiu tang 载 酒 堂) during his exile.

Dongpo Academy has been on the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1996 (4-182)
