Donna Vardy (born April 16, 1971 in Mansfield ) is a former English squash player .

Career

Donna Vardy was active on the WSA World Tour in the 1980s and 1990s . She celebrated her greatest successes with the juniors: in 1987 she was first runner-up in the individual world championship behind Sarah Fitz-Gerald and won the title with the team. She repeated the team success in 1989 and also moved into the finals in the individual. There she defeated Lynora Hati in three sets.

In 1989 she was in the main draw of the World Championships, where she lost to Sarah Fitz-Gerald in the second round. At the British Open , reaching the round of 16 in 1995 was the best result. In 1999 she ended her career.
