Thunder Song (Thunder Buddies) is a song by German dance project Brisby & Jingles in collaboration with DJ DMH It is based on the Thunder and Thunder Song of the US film comedy Ted .
background
The thunder song is sung in the film by the two official voice actors Jan Odle (Ted) and Oliver Mink (John). These voices were also used for the three-minute remix of the song by Brisby & Jingles with DJ DMH. Rob Miloo's Club Mix of the song was released as a single track for download on August 5, 2012. Then, on August 24th, the entire single followed. It was released through the Universal Music record company . Seth MacFarlane wrote the song himself.
construction
The melody of the song is based on the traditional Oh! Susannah . The thunder song (Thunder Buddies) begins with a loud clap of thunder and a short instrumental intro. After another bang, the verse starts, just like in the film. After it has finished, an instrumental part starts that is strongly reminiscent of the song Tacatà . Then more parts of the singing follow along with this part in the background. In the remixes by Rob Miloo and Brisby himself under his pseudonym Crew 7 , the instrumental was replaced by other beats.
