Doncho Kostov
Dontscho Stojanow Kostow ( Bulgarian Дончо Костов ; born June 19, 1897 in Lokorsko , † August 9, 1949 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian geneticist .
In his scientific work, he dealt in particular with the crossing of different potato varieties, the hybridization of plants, heterosis and the inheritance of immunity in tobacco plants against the tobacco mosaic virus .
