Doré Lake is a lake in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan . The lake has a water surface of 628 km², the total area including islands comprises 640 km². On the west bank, the Doré River drains the lake and flows to the Beaver River , a tributary of the Churchill River . On the south shore is the hamlet of Dore Lake .
"Doré" is the Canadian-French word for glass eye perch .
