Dora is a city in Roosevelt County in the US state of New Mexico in the United States with 130 inhabitants ( as of 2000) .

The city is located a little east of the geographic center of the county in the extreme east of New Mexico, is about 15 km from Texas and has a total area of 7.3 km² without any significant water surface.
Demographic data
After the census of 2000, there 130 people in 43 households and 36 families lived. The population density was 17.8 inhabitants per km ². The racial the population was composed of 86.15% White, 2.31% Native American, 11.54% from other races.
