description
building
The building is a rectangular hall with a square, Romanesque rectangular tower. There are Romanesque biforic windows in the tower . In the north wall of the hall there is an added portal with an incised tombstone as a lintel. Similar tombstone fragments were also built into the exterior of the church in the Romanesque period. The profiled fighters of the choir arch probably date from the end of the 12th century. During a renovation in 1635, the south wall of the ship was moved out.
inner space
Inside there is a two-sided double gallery, which served as a mansion box in the upper part. Like the organ, the gallery has classicist shapes. A vespers group is recorded in a painted shrine from the 15th century. The carved pulpit dates from around 1635. It consists of an eight-sided basket with Christ Salvator and a coat of arms carried by an angel . On the parapet of the stairway to the basket there are depictions of the evangelists .
Others
The bronze bell in the tower dates from 1794. There are also several tombstones from the 15th and 16th centuries belonging to the von Heßler family.
