The Coppanz village church is located in the Coppanz district of the Bucha municipality in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish of Magdala / Bucharest in the church district Jena the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

1812 took place the building of the church , because the village was destroyed from 1446 to 1451 and then was more than 200 years without form. It was not until 1723 that Duke Ernst August approved the reconstruction. It was Ammerbacher who repopulated the village. Finally the church was built.

The church has a single nave nave with a wooden ceiling and a rectangular choir with a choir tower .
