The village church Dolle is the Protestant church of the village Dolle in Saxony-Anhalt .

architecture

The church was built in 1907 according to plans by Albert Schütze . The nave has two aisles with a recessed rectangular choir. The steeple is on the southeast side of the plastered building. The style cites the Baroque and Art Nouveau , but otherwise presents itself as a factual home style.

The stocky looking tower is covered by a tail hood . The main nave has a high gable roof , the aisle to the south has a gable .

Interior

The ceiling of the main nave is made of a wooden, slightly pointed barrel. There is a gallery on the west side of the main nave . Another gallery has been added on the south side of the aisle. The ceiling is designed as a slope paneled with wood. The apse has a round barrel.

The original colored glazing from 1907 has been preserved in the church. The glazing of the west window shows the eye of God as well as the Holy Spirit dove over the heavenly Jerusalem. The original rustic furnishings have also been preserved. Here, too, there are forms of Art Nouveau. There is a wooden frame around the altar with benches for communicants. A crucifix painted on a gold background is located behind the cafeteria.

The Dolle war memorial was erected in front of the church, commemorating the citizens of Dolle who died in the First and Second World Wars .
