The memorial is located on Lindenstrasse in Dolle, immediately east of the Dolle village church . It is registered as a war memorial in the local register of monuments.
Design and history
The war memorial was built in the early 1920s and the memory used to the fallen of the First World War . A stone slab was placed on a plinth made of quarry stone in several steps, with an inscription tablet with the names of Dolles residents who died in the war. Above the panel there is a depiction of an iron cross .
Another stone was later placed in front of the memorial to commemorate the victims of the Second World War . It bears the inscription TO REMEMBER THE VICTIMS OF WORLD WAR 2 .
