The Evangelical village church Frohnsdorf is in Frohnsdorf , a district of Nobitz in the Altenburger Land district in Thuringia .

history

The church was built in the classicist style from 1837 to 1839 by the architect Späthe from Langenleuba-Niederhain .

The font is made of marble .

The organ was installed in 1939 by the Böhme company from Zeitz . The crucifix was created by the carver Gleitsmann from Langenleuba-Niederhain.

The bells were melted down in World War I , replaced in 1925, and again melted down in World War II and replaced in 1950.

The church tower was renovated from 1993 to 1994. The organ was repaired in 2000–2002.
