Gößnitz village church
The Evangelical Church of Gößnitz is located in the settlement street of Gößnitz in the Burgenland district in Saxony-Anhalt . The building was erected between 1675 and 1678 and is a listed building.
description
The church has a late Gothic nave with a three-sided east end. A lattice tower with a hood and lantern is located above the western part. The west portal of the building has crossed bars in the apex and dates from the early 16th century. In the years 1699 to 1701 the building was made Baroque - today you can see it in the arched east gallery with organ and pulpit at the side. There is a double gallery on the west wall of the ship. Two-storey mansion boxes were built on the sides, of which the southern one is only preserved in the basement.
