The village church Großkröbitz is in the district Großkröbitz of the municipality Milda in the Saale-Holzland-Kreis in Thuringia .

The village church is in the center of the village.

history

According to an inscription on the east side of the church, it was rebuilt in 1718. There was a previous church whose year of construction is not known. The new church is a hall church with a hipped roof and turret and has two rows of windows all around. Two Saxon coats of arms are carved on the south side. The furnishings come from the time of construction with circumferential galleries on the long sides on two floors. The organ was installed by Louis Poppe from Roda in 1838. The current brown color scheme of the furnishings is from 1937.

  • the stone, late medieval offering box and
  • the bell from the 14th century has been preserved.

From this the previous church is dated to the 14th century.
