Heiligenkreuz village church
The Protestant village church Heiligenkreuz is located in Heiligenkreuz , a district of the city of Naumburg (Saale) in the Burgenland district in Saxony-Anhalt . It is a listed building and is registered with the registration number 094 95624 in the state's monument register.

building
The church is a late Gothic hall church with a three-sided east end and a west tower drawn into the nave. In the years 1701 to 1710 it was redesigned in Baroque forms . At the same time, an octagonal tower with a slid-off hood was built above the basement of the tower.
Interior and equipment
The church hall has a flat ceiling. The horseshoe gallery with a manorial box is richly decorated with allegorical and tendril paintings. It was built in 1710. The pulpit altar of the building dates from 1708. There is a painting of the Crucifixion under the pulpit basket. In 1913 the interior was renewed in Art Nouveau forms with stencil paintings on the walls and colored glazing of the windows.

Two baroque tombstones have been preserved outside the church.
