The Evangelical Lutheran village church Hohenölsen is located in the Hohenölsen district of the city of Weida in the Greiz district in Thuringia . It belongs to the Weida parish in the Gera parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

The village church Hohenölsen was built on the basis of a Romanesque choir tower church . The bell tower probably dates from the 14th century. The nave dates back to 1700. The ceiling beams built into the nave are colored on the underside.
