The village church Rattelsdorf is located in the municipality of Rattelsdorf in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia . It belongs to the regional parish Tälerdörfer in the Eisenberg parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The village church is located in the middle of the village.

history

In 1681 the old church was demolished. The parish then built a hall church with a retracted choir . In 1752 the church was rebuilt and its appearance is still today.

To the nave

In 1835 the interior was redesigned in a classicist style. The pulpit altar , surrounded on three sides by the gallery, emphasizes the equality of word and sacrament .

The organ was created by Christian Friedrich Poppe the Elder in 1788 . Ä. from Roda.
