Solsdorf village church

The Protestant village church of Solsdorf is located in the Solsdorf district of the city of Königsee in Thuringia .

A chapel from the 11th to 13th centuries once stood on a hill in the higher valley basin of the foothills of the village of Solsdorf , which probably served the cattle traders from the Rinnetal who traveled on the donkey trail that led via Kleinliehaben and Großliehaben to Stadtilm and Erfurt .

In 1681, today's church was built on its foundation walls . After it was about to decay in 1992, it received a fundamental renovation in 1995.
