description

building

The rectangular building is located on a hill in the village and is surrounded by a walled cemetery. A tower-like, square half-timbered structure is located above the western part of the building. Parts of the north wall of the choir and a triumphal arch over warriors with late Romanesque profiles probably come from the original Romanesque complex. The eastern half of the building is believed to be from the first half of the 16th century. The shape of the windows and the carved roof suggest this. The extension of the church to the west and the tower-like part, on the other hand, date from the middle of the 18th century. The interior was also built during this time. However, this underwent a classicistic change in 1832. Between 1992 and 1994 the church was renovated.

Interior and equipment

There are field ceilings in the choir and nave. The horseshoe gallery is two-story on the north side and swings forward in the west. It is partially painted with acanthus tendrils.

In the upper part of the wooden pulpit altar with acanthus cheeks and side passages is the eye of God , under the basket a painting of the Last Supper can be seen. There are rulers on both sides of the pulpit altar.

According to the inscription, the organ dates to the year 1756. In the church there is a simple wooden baptism.
