The Protestant village church Wilhelmsdorf is in Wilhelmsdorf (Saale) in the administrative community Ranis-Ziegenrück in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

history

The church is at the end of the village street, which has been extended to the Anger , near the left side of the house on a small hill. It is a rectangular hall building with a square west tower , which was built between 1843 and 1845 after the previous church was demolished. The late Gothic altar shrine on the south wall of the old church from the 15th century also dates from the 15th century. He has courtly carvings in the shape of the crowned Woman of the Apocalypse with halo , flanked by St. George and St. Elizabeth of Hungary .
