In the administrative community Ranis-Ziegenrück from the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia , the cities of Ranis and Ziegenrück and eleven municipalities have come together to handle their administrative business. They are between the towns of Pößneck and Schleiz .
The administrative association is based in Ranis , with branches in Krölpa and Ziegenrück .

history
The administrative community has existed since March 9, 1995 and emerged from the administrative community Ranis-Oberland and the communities of Crispendorf , Eßbach , Schöndorf and Ziegenrück . In 1997 the municipality of Seisla was added. On December 31, 2013, the municipality of Krölpa joined the administrative community. As part of the Thuringia regional reform in 2018 and 2019 , the member community Crispendorf was incorporated into Schleiz on January 1, 2019 and left the administrative community.
