Location of the former administrative community in the Saale-Orla district

In the administrative community Saale-Rennsteig from the Thuringian Saale-Orla communities had come together to do their administrative affairs 1994-2019 seven. It was between the cities of Schleiz and Naila .

The seat of the administrative association was Blankenstein . The last chairman of the administrative association was Helmut Wirth.

history

The administrative community was founded on June 18, 1994. As part of the Thuringia regional reform in 2018 and 2019 , the administrative community was dissolved on January 1, 2019, the member communities merged to form the community of Rosenthal am Rennsteig .
