The Zützen village church is a Protestant church in the Zützen district of the city of Schwedt / Oder in the Uckermark district in Brandenburg .

architecture

The small church consists of only one hall, the walls of which are made of field stones , and a gable roof at a low height. There is a stepped gable on the west side and the north wall has a semicircular entrance to the patronage . Two lancet windows with small circular windows can be found in the east wall and a pointed arch portal on the south side. Inside there is a wooden beam ceiling , a west gallery and a wooden pulpit .

history

The building was erected in the second half of the 13th century. Both the wooden beam ceiling and the west gallery date from 1695. The stepped gable was added around 1830 and the north entrance was created at the beginning of the 20th century.
