Dorfkrug (Wedderstedt)
The Dorfkrug is a listed inn in the district of Wedderstedt in the Harz district of Selke-Aue in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located at the address Quedlinburger Straße 22 in the center of Wedderstedt, immediately north of the confluence of the Ringstraße and Quedlinburger Straße. The building line of the house jumps clearly into the line of Quedlinburger Strasse. To the east of the building, on the other side of the street, demolitions have created a space that increases the urban significance of the house. It is registered as an inn in the local monument register.
Architecture and history
The two-story half - timbered house was built in the first half of the 19th century. The compartments of the house are filled with ornamental brickwork. The base of the house was clad with tiles at times. The building was renovated at the beginning of the 21st century. In doing so, listed windows were used again and the window openings that had previously been enlarged downwards on the street-side ground floor were removed again. In addition, shutters were installed on the ground floor .
At the northern courtyard building there is a wooden gallery with a trailing parapet .
