The former village school Uichteritz is a listed building in the Uichteritz district of the city of Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the building is recorded as a monument under registration number 094 15297 .

history

The building with the address Erdmann-Neumeister-Platz 2 in Uichteritz is the former school building of the place. The current building was erected in the 19th century in place of the previous school building. The high water mark from 1799 was taken from the old school building. The old school house was the birthplace of the hymn poet Erdmann Neumeister, born in 1671 . The building was expanded by two additions and is now used by the municipal administration and a party service.
