Doris Lucke

Doris Mathilde Lucke (* 1953 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German sociologist .

Lucke studied sociology , psychology and philosophy at the University of Munich from 1972 to 1977 , where she also received her doctorate in 1980 . She then worked as a lecturer at the Academy for Business Executives in Bad Harzburg and as a scientific foundation officer in social science policy advice . In 1994 she completed her habilitation at the University of Bonn , where she has taught as a professor since 1998. Lucke is best known for her contributions to acceptance research and gender sociology.
