Doris Mademann-Meise
Doris Mademann-Meise (* 1958 in Ratingen ) is a German artist .
biography
Mademann studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 1979 to 1981 , and painting and sculpture at the Düsseldorf Art Academy from 1981 to 1988 . In 1983 she received a scholarship at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris , and in 1984 she became a master student of Günther Uecker . She was then awarded the Hedwig and Robert Samuel Foundation's sponsorship award. She took part in the First International Video Conference of Visual Artists (Düsseldorf / Vienna) and was a visiting artist at the Department of Fine Art at the University of South Dakota . This was followed by a sculpture project by the Stadtsparkasse Haan Foundation .
