Doris Nussbaumer

Doris Nussbaumer (* 1973 in Gmunden , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

Doris Nussbaumer lives in Vienna and works as a writer and writing teacher. She teaches creative writing according to the method of Viennese writing pedagogy . Nussbaumer has been working as a cultural worker in the Werkl in the Goethehof since 2012 - self-managed cultural open spaces in the Goethehof .

With El Awadalla and Traude Korosa , Nussbaumer organized the resistance readings Language is Action in 2000 .

Doris Nussbaumer is a founding member (2004) of the Professional Association of Austrian Writing Teachers. From 2003 to 2012 she was Deputy Chairwoman of the Austrian Dialect Authors ( Ö.DA ).
