The Dornburg in Heidelberger Landstrasse 99 is a building in Darmstadt-Eberstadt . It is a cultural monument for architectural, architectural and urban historical reasons .
History and description
The Dornburg was built in 1901. The villa is a mixture of different architectural styles; in particular historicism and the local architecture. Various details - especially the windows - come from the Baroque and Art Nouveau styles .
Noteworthy is an Art Nouveau window on the south side, the carved balcony railing on the upper floor , the residential tower and the lavishly designed roof landscape. The property is bordered by a partially preserved historical fence . The name on the east facade documents the name of the villa.
