Dorothea Bergermann
Dorothea Bergermann (* 1978 in Hanover ) is a German author of fantasy novels and science fiction stories.
Life
After graduating from high school in Thuringia in 1999, she studied Japanese Studies , History and Prehistory and Protohistory. She then did a one-year internship in Japan. It was there that Bergermann learned not only how to make kimonos but also the Japanese dyeing, weaving and sewing techniques . Back in Germany, she completed an apprenticeship in hand embroidery and hand weaving. Since 2009 she has been working as a freelance textile artist and writer. So far she has written three Aventurian novels for the world of the black eye . She currently lives (2011) in Herzogenaurach .
