Dorothea Heymann-Reder

Dorothea Heymann-Reder , born Dorothea Heymann , (born July 24, 1963 in Cologne ) is a German translator and politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). From 1997 to 1998 she was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

1982 Dorothea Heymann-Reder finished school with the High School and then trained as a bank clerk , which she completed in the 1987th She then worked in the foreign banking sector and later for risk management in interbank trading . From 1992 to 1999 she studied French, Spanish and linguistics at the University of Cologne . From 1995 she worked as a student assistant at the chair for linguistic information processing, one year later she took over her first regular translation jobs. In September 1996 she was licensed as a state-certified translator.

In 1993 Heymann-Reder became a member of the Greens. In the same year she became a member of the local association board. From 1994 to 1995 she was a member of the city council of Hürth , where she became deputy chairman of her group. From 1997 she was an expert citizen in the Environment and Planning Committee and in the School Committee of the Bornheim City Council . On October 21, 1997 she moved to the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia in the twelfth electoral term, where she was a member of the migration committee and the urban development committee. She resigned from the Landtag on September 28, 1998 for personal reasons.

Heymann-Reder works (as of 2017) as a freelance translator in Bonn . Her main focus is on translations in the fields of IT and business .
