Doryssos
Doryssos ( Greek Δόρυσσος Dóryssos , German 'spear swinging' ) was the son of Labotas in Greek mythology and the fifth king of Sparta from the house of the Agiads .
After the death of his father he ascended the throne and is said to have ruled only briefly after Pausanias . After Hieronymus and the Excerpta Latina Barbari , however, he ruled for 29 years. His successor was his son Agesilaus I.
