Dotun Ogundeji (born February 24, 1996 in San Diego ) is a Nigerian - American shot putter and discus thrower .

Athletic career

Dotun Ogundeji gained his first international experience in 2015 at the Pan American Junior Championships in Edmonton , where he won the silver medal with the 6 kg ball starting for the USA with a width of 19.20 m. In 2019, he took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for Nigeria for the first time , where he finished fourth in the shot put with 20.06 m and won the silver medal behind Egyptian Shehab Mohamed Abdalaziz in the discus throw with 57.82 m .
