Shehab Mohamed Abdalaziz (born August 8, 1998 ) is an Egyptian discus thrower who started his career in the shot put .

Athletic career

Shehab Mohamed Abdalaziz gained his first international experience at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing , where he took sixth place in the shot put with a width of 19.17 m with a 5 kg ball. In the following year he won the silver medal at the Junior African Championships in Addis Ababa with 18.43 m with the 6 kg ball and then also won the silver medal in the shot put at the Youth African Championships in Réduit with 19.87 m and won the discus competition with 58 , 31 m bronze. Thereupon he was at the Youth World Championships in Cali with 20.79 m fifth and did not make a valid attempt in the discus qualification. In 2016 he finished fourth and fifth at the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Tunis with 16.62 m and 49.19 m respectively. He then reached the final at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz in the shot put, in which he reached tenth place with 17.80 m, but was eliminated in the discus competition with 53.19 m in qualification.

In 2018 he finished eighth at the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Jesolo with 52.73 m. The following year he was classified in eleventh place at the Summer Universiade in Naples with 55.21 m and then won the African Games in Rabat with a width of 59.29 m.

In 2018 and 2019, Abdalaziz was Egyptian champion in discus throw.
