Douglas Flint

Sir Douglas Flint , CBE (born July 8, 1955 in Glasgow ) is a British manager and banker .

Flint studied economics at the University of Glasgow . After completing his studies, he worked for the company Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (today: KPMG ). In June 2006 he was inducted into the Order of the British Empire as Commander . At the end of 2010, Flint was appointed chairman of the banking group HSBC . In 2018 he was beaten Knight Bachelor ("Sir").

From June 11th to 14th, 2015 he took part in the 63rd Bilderberg Conference in Telfs-Buchen , Austria .
