Douglas Ryder
Douglas Ryder (born November 26, 1971 in Cape Town ) is a former South African racing cyclist and later manager of a cycling team .
Ryder was a member of the South African national team from 1993 to 2002. He took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and finished 61st in the road race . He won the Boland Bank Tour in 1995 and the Cape Argus Cycle Tour in 2001.
After his active career, he became the manager of the South African team MTN-Qhubeka , which was the first African team to take part in the Tour de France in 2015 .
