The Dow Peak is a mountain in the Bowers Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 3 km east-southeast of Mount Sturm .
Participants in the 1967 to 1968 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him after John A. S. Dow, the lead geologist on this expedition.
