The Doyle Glacier is a glacier on Elephant Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows east to the Weddell Sea , which it reaches between Walker Point and Pygoscelis Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2016. It is named after Frederick J. Doyle (1920–2013) of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing , a pioneer of photogrammetry using satellite .
