Rin Amani is a great dancer, but not a talented singer. One day he goes to a concert by the Beatman group and performs his singing there. The Japanese newspapers then wrote of a "strange noise", while the fans who attended the concert were absolutely delighted with Rin's voice. For the group's president, this can only be explained by the fact that Rin has the legendary Dragon Voice , a voice that can only be felt live, but sounds like a background noise on recordings. Rin joins the band, which up until then had four members.

Publications

Dragon Voice appeared in Japan from 2001 to 2003 in individual chapters in the weekly manga magazine Shōnen Magazine , in which Ken Akamatsu's Love Hina and Hiro Mashima's RAVE were published at the same time . The Kodansha publishing house also summarized these individual chapters in eleven edited volumes.

The manga has been translated into English, Korean, Chinese and Thai. Tokyopop has been releasing the US version since October 2004.
