The Dreiecksteich (also Ricklinger Dreieckteich) is a quarry pond in the southern urban area of Hanover , Lower Saxony . The inflow and outflow of water belongs to the group of Ricklinger Kiesteiche in the floodplain of the Leine .
The Dreiecksteich is approved as a bathing lake and is visited by many bathers in summer. The bathing water quality is monitored, but there is no lifeguard. The bathing area is in the southern area of the lake. Immediately south of the bathing water runs the Südschnellweg, from which the lake is separated by trees. Sanitary facilities and a snack are located on the western bank of the Dreiecksteich.
The lake is used by the Hanover fishing association as angling waters. In 2009 eel, perch, pike, carp, roach, tench and pikeperch were reported from the lake.
