Drenge is a band from England formed in 2011 by brothers Rory and Eoin Loveless. They derived their band name from the Danish word for "boys".

history

The brothers Rory and Eoin Loveless come from the English village of Castleton in Derbyshire . It was there that she wrote her first songs, which appeared on Infectious Records. First major publicity got the band in 2013 as the Member of Parliament Tom Watson of Labor Party in his farewell in the last sentence of his letter declared, "And if you want to see an awesome band, I recommend Drenge".

Drenge have toured the UK including appearances at the Glastonbury Festival , Latitude Festival and Reading and Leeds Festivals .

Her debut album of the same name was released on August 19, 2013 on Infectious Records . Her single Bloodsports was used for a commercial for the British TV series Misfits and was listed by BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe in its "100 favorite records of 2013".

In 2014 Drenge received the NME Award in the “Best New Band” category.
