Drewin

Drewin is a district of Neustrelitz in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is located ten kilometers south of the city not far from federal highway 96 in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

The place is about nine kilometers south of the Neustrelitz town center in a wooded area. The Krumme See , the Hüchsensee, the Buttersee and the Mummelsee are in the vicinity .

history

Drewin had been part of the Klein Trebbow community since April 1, 1937. The village of Klein Trebbow including Drewin has belonged to Neustrelitz since 1992.

Infrastructure

The paths in the village are not named. Therefore the 15 or so houses are only numbered. The development is characterized by single-family houses, old farmhouses and the forest district . Until the 2000s, many roads in Drewin were not paved.

On the outskirts of the village, the Berlin – Stralsund railway line runs west and Bundesstraße 96 to the east. There used to be a small train station in Drewin .

The connection to Neustrelitz or Strelitz-Alt is the week with the buses of MVVG prepared (bus 640), wherein i. d. Usually a telephone reservation is necessary. During the school holidays, the offer is limited to individual days of the week.
