Driffield Castle

Driffield Castle is an Outbound castle in the small town of Driffield in English management unit East Riding of Yorkshire .

It was a Norman moth that Hugh d'Avranches, 1st Earl of Chester (approx. 1047-1101), had built. It was fortified again in the 13th century. In the 19th century, the mound was damaged by a quarry built there . Residential houses were built in the former courtyard.

Today only earthworks received the Moot Hill called.
