The Drontermeer (Dutch sea - the lake) is a lake in the Netherlands , which lies between the Ketelmeer in the north and the Veluwemeer in the south and is connected on one side with a lock . The lake is 467 hectares and has an average depth of 1.25 meters. There are three islands in the lake, one of which is inhabited, but the other two are still in their natural state.
