The Dryad Lake ( English ; Bulgarian езеро Дриада esero Driada ) is an oval, in north-northwest-south-southeast orientation 190 m long, 90 m wide and 1.28 hectare large lake on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 1.25 km north of Telish Rock , 1.5 km southeast of Amadok Point and 3.25 km west-southwest of Bond Point on the west side of Elephant Point . A strip of land between 19 and 25 m wide separates it from Bransfieldstrasse .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2020 after the dryads from Greek mythology .
