Dušan Avsec
Dušan Avsec (born February 22, 1905 in Ljubljana ; † October 31, 1989 there ) was a Yugoslav electrical engineer.
After graduating from the Technical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana , he studied at the Sorbonne in Paris from 1933 to 1940 . In 1939 he received his doctorate in physics and was initially assistant professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana and then professor in 1951. From 1953 he headed the Institute for Technical Mechanics. 1956/57 he was dean of the faculty of engineering and 1967–1969 dean of the faculty of electrical engineering.
